Great easy access from highway 5 2 km from Clearwater. Camping, fishing, hiking. Beautiful views all year.

Pros: off the highway for a great and quick one night stop over. Typical Provincial Park fare. No highway noise as it's set back in trees. Water and bins available. Great playground to let the kids have a run around. Really nice park operator however, she doesn't live on site. $23 per night as of Sept 2017. Cons: Railway is adjacent and runs all night. Tight narrow and some short sites available. Not many of the 40 + sites that would accommodate a larger rig. We are 56ft end to end and found only a couple that would work.

I was impressed with the size and cleanliness of the campsites. There is more space between sites than I am used to, making for more privacy and quieter nights. The setting is Forest along the river and very pleasant. When we arrived on a weekday evening in August there were plenty of sites available. The road to and through is asphalt so no dust. The picnic table was sturdy, clean, and graffiti free. The site was spotless. Or RV site did not have hookups. All in all a very pleasant experience.

We stayed in this campground for Canada Day. It was a little noisy, but that's to be expected on a long weekend :) . The outhouses aren't lit, so remember your headlamp unless you're okay going to the bathroom in the dark at night. The area is really nice and the campsite is well maintained. Great for tenting!!!
