  Would be happy to give this an extra star for all round excellence. Loved the owners, the location, the rooms and pretty much everything about this place. My wife and I have travelled many thousands of miles round the USA and now part of Canada and this rates as one of the nicest. Not posh not fussy not high tech but a great place to relax, enjoy the views and feel part of the area. Loads of places to visit including the spectacular Helmcken Falls lots of trails to walk. Battle Mountain Equine there to go western style horse riding and a small restaurant with balcony complete with humming birds feeding as you chill with a beer and good quality food. The rooms were spotlessly clean with comfortable beds. No TV to spoil or distract the occupier but a veranda to sit and take in the vista.

  Nice quiet place to stay, not far from the nearby falls. Good restaurant on site but a little pricey and does not sell cooked breakfast.

  Very nice fall but there were too many people... when we last came (years ago) there where less people and more wildlife...

  Friendly staff very well maintained rooms close the the falls and i seen all new beds being put in.
